Online Registration

Online Registration for NEW students for the 2025-2026 school year is now open. Make sure to select the 2025-26 school year when registering.

For currently enrolled returning students in an SFSD School, “Information Verification for Existing SFSD Students” will open on August 11, 2025 .

In order to be eligible for kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025.

If your student most recently attended school in a Silver Falls School District school, you can simply click the button below for “Information Verification for Existing SFSD Students” starting August 11, 2025.

For students who are either new to Silver Falls School District or returning from another school or district, and enrolling grades K-12, online registration is available below. After you register, your school(s) will reach out with further information.

For Pre-K registration, please reach out to the district office directly.

 

School Finder

  • If the school your child most recently attended was an SFSD school, you do not need to register or enroll them again. Instead, you must simply verify your existing information. This can be done through ParentVUE at the link below.

  • Your child is considered a returning student if they have previously attended SFSD schools but are not currently attending one of our schools. You can enroll returning students online. Please use your previously created SFSD ParentVUE account.

All new families must create a new ParentVUE account, linked above.

When enrolling for Kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st.

During your online registration process, you may be asked to provide information or upload documents about the following information:

WHO CAN REGISTER:

  • Only custodial parents can enroll their student in a Silver Falls School District school

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER (new families or children only):

  • Proof of student’s birth date (birth certificate, hospital record, passport, or baptismal record)
  • Proof of address:
    • 1 Current Document from the list below
      • Property Tax Statement
      • Lease or Rental Agreement
      • Documents related to purchase of residence (Closing Documents)

AND

  • 1 Current Document post marked within the last 60 days from the following list:
    • Utility Companies (such as a cable, garbage, electric, gas, water or home phone)
    • Social Security Administration
    • Oregon Government Agencies
    • State and Federal Revenue Documents
    • Credit Card Bill
    • Financial Institutions (checking/savings)
    • Insurance Companies
    • Paycheck Information (paystubs)
  • Immunization records

RECOMMENDED:

  • At least one emergency contact – including address and phone number
  • Physician and dentist phone numbers

Once your application has been submitted, you may still need to schedule a visit to your child’s school to complete the enrollment process. This visit should be prior to the first day of the child attending. This visit is important as you may receive ​school-specific forms to complete and your child will receive class assignments, schedules and other information to make your child’s transition a smooth one. ​

The account you created for online registration is now your ParentVUE account. ParentVUE is the parent portal that allows you see your students’ educational information. Visit our ParentVUE page for more information.

Who can register online?
Online registration is only available if:

You reside within the Silver Falls School District boundaries.
You are enrolling your child in your school of residence.

If your situation does not fit the above criteria, contact your local school. You can use the School Locator application to find your school of residence.
Who can I contact if I have questions about the registration process?
 you have any questions about registering your child, please contact your child’s school directly.

My student is already enrolled in a Silver Falls school. Do I need to register them for the upcoming school year?
No. If your student is already enrolled in an SFSD School, you do not need to re-enroll them for the upcoming school year. Each Fall, we will ask you to verify your family and student’s information. This is done through ParentVUE.

Is online registration secure?
Online Registration uses a 256-bit, secure socket layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect information. The technology is similar to that used in other industries such as health care and banking.

Can I register more than one student through online registration?
Yes. Parents can register multiple new students in a household at one time.

Can I start online registration now and finish it later?
Yes. Applications can be saved if more data entry is needed and reopened at a later time with the created username and password.

Once I submit the registration forms, can I still go in and make changes?
No. In order to make changes to a submitted application, you will need to contact your school. The office staff can then make the changes for you. Once your registration or verification has been accepted, then you can log in again and re-submit to make additional changes throughout the year.

Can I access the online registration system from my smartphone or tablet?
There is not currently an app for online registration. The tool is best accessed from a desktop computer.

How will I know if you've received my registration forms?
Upon successfully completing the online registration process, you should receive a confirmation email.

If you do not receive that email, please check your spam or junk mail folders and be sure to mark @silverfalls.k12.or.us email addresses as “safe” or “not junk” in your email application.
