District Goals

Silver Falls SD prides itself in creating a school environment where all students thrive. We have a dedicated staff who strive to meet the emotional, social, and academic needs of our students. While our strategic plan will be restructured this year, we will still focus on the third priority of our current plan that emphasizes social and emotional health for all students while maintaining our high academic rigor and standards. We will prioritize changes to early literacy and attendance systems that will help students achieve at higher levels and attend school more regularly.

Our Mission

At SFSD, we believe in “Where Every Student Thrives.” Our aim is to nurture the whole student, academically, socially, and emotionally, within a safe, welcoming environment. We collaborate with families, staff and the wider community to ensure every child has opportunity, challenge and support.

Looking Ahead

As we enter a new school year, we bring a spirit of collaboration, innovation, and community-pride to our work. From celebrating homecoming at our high school to visiting classrooms across the district, we have already seen our schools filled with connection, learning, and joy. We continue to focus on key initiatives that strengthen our schools for the future—improving how we communicate, supporting our staff, and investing in long-term student success.

Thank you for partnering with us. Together, we make Silver Falls School District a place where every student can thrive.
