Welcome from the Superintendent

Welcome to the Silver Falls School District!

As we begin the 2025–26 school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to our students, families, staff, and community members. The start of a new year always brings a sense of excitement, possibility, and pride in what we accomplish together.

These first few months have been busy in the best way. From Homecoming celebrations to classroom visits across the district, it has been inspiring to see our schools filled with connection, learning, and joy. I am continually impressed by the dedication of our educators and the enthusiasm of our students.

Over the summer and into this school year, our district team has been hard at work on key initiatives designed to strengthen our schools and plan for the future. We’re focused on improving communication, supporting staff, and investing in the long-term success of our students and community.

Like many districts across Oregon, we’re also closely monitoring state and federal budget developments that could impact education. While some details are still unfolding, we remain committed to keeping our community informed and ensuring that every decision we make keeps students at the center.

I’m looking forward to a year of growth, collaboration, and continued excellence across our schools. Thank you for your partnership and for all you do to make Silver Falls School District a place where students thrive.

Warm regards,
Kim Kellison
