The Silver Falls School District is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the School Board representing Zone 7.

The appointed board member will fulfill the current term which expires June 30, 2027. Board members play a vital role in shaping the future of our schools by setting policy, approving budgets, and working in partnership with the community to support student success.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Live within Zone 7 boundaries of Silver Falls School District. (For more information on SFSD’s Board Zones, please see our Board Zone boundaries Map.)
  

• Be a registered voter in Oregon
  

• Not be an employee of the district
  
  

How to Apply
Interested community members should complete the application and submit it by June 5th, 2026.  

Applications will be reviewed by the School Board, and interviews will be held during the June 22nd Board Work Session. The selected candidate will be officially sworn in at the July 13 Regular Board Meeting.
