Silver Falls School District

Where Every Student Thrives

Teaching and Learning

SFSD Teaching and Learning

The Teaching and Learning department is responsible for ensuring every student across the district receives high-quality, standards-aligned instruction. We select and support research-based curricula, intervention resources, and assessment tools that equip educators to meet students where they are and help them grow.

Standards-based teaching means our programs are built around clear expectations for what students should know and be able to do at each grade level. Through regular interim assessments and targeted interventions, teachers can monitor progress, respond to student needs, and keep families informed. The goal is straightforward: clear expectations, consistent instruction, and no surprises for students or families.

Every year, the Oregon Department of Education releases school and district report cards on their report card site. Silver Falls School District report cards are available directly here, including an archive of previous years.
