Due to changing weather patterns and evolving wildfire zones in our region, the planned HAB launch for Monday morning is currently subject to hour-by-hour status changes in terms of whether or not we will have a cleared flight path. For clarity, if the balloon’s flight would overlap into a wildfire zone, we will not be able to launch the HAB. In that event, the Silverton High School parking lot and facility will be open at no charge for viewers of the Eclipse to utilize on a first-come, first-served basis.

Here’s Saturday morning’s projected flight path. If this is where the path stays, we’ll be go for a launch!
